第18届知识与系统科学国际会议(KSS2017)是2003年底通过4届KSS国际会议孕育而生的国际知识与系统科学学会（ISKSS，www.iskss.org）的年会。KSS国际会议创始成员除若干日本的大学外，还包括中国大陆系统科学与系统工程研究教育的三家著名单位：中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院（AMSS-CAS），大连理工大学和清华大学。ISKSS目前为国际系统研究联合会(IFSR)成员单位。自2014年12月起，清华大学经管学院陈剑教授担任ISKSS会长，AMSS-CAS唐锡晋研究员为副会长和秘书长。
KSS’2017由泰国人工智能学会承办，大会主席为：陈剑教授和Thanaruk Theeramunkong（泰国Thammasat University诗琳通信息技术学院）。KSS2017主题为：“知识、技术与服务管理的人工智能与信息系统”。会议网址：http://aiat.in.th/kss2017，会议地址：曼谷Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside酒店。

全文会议论文集由Springer出版社出版，属于Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) 系列（EI检索）。每篇全文投稿将由技术程序委员会至少3位评审评议。程序委员会将对论文修改稿(camera-ready version)作最终审核，若修改未达到评审要求，或英文撰写质量达不到基本要求，或未通过Springer指定查重工具的查重检查，论文将不被收录到全文会议论文集中，并转为摘要录取，注册作者仍能参会交流。
注册并在会议上宣讲的全文论文将根据评审质量和宣讲质量分别推荐给Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering (Springer, SCI期刊）和Journal of Systems Science and Information专辑出版（均需要期刊再评审）。
