Abstract

In this paper, Beijing water resource problem is studied by using system dynamics method. Beijing water resource is classified into two sub-systems, i.e., supply system and demand system. Both of the two sub-systems are modeled and tested by real data. Based on the balance of supply and demand model, a system dynamic model is established and analyzed. With the comparative analysis of different scenarios, some suggestions and plans to mitigate Beijing water shortage are presented.

Key words
