By introducing the penalty factor about mark in group decision making, the concepts of the penalty mark number and the penalty mark functional are defined in this paper. On the basis of the study on the properties of group penalty mapping deducted from individual penalty mark functionals to group one, a class of the penalty mark methods for solving group decision making problems are constructed.
