From the point of practical application, we illustrate the possibility and necessity of realization of CIM technology in petrochemical industry especially refinery enterprises, then give solution to the technical problem that people are bewildering. Finally we build and set forth the universal CIM model that used in refinery industry. This method has higher guidance meaning in implementing CIM system in process industry.
