Abstract

This paper concerns the firms' merger and pricing strategy of two groups of firms, on the condition that intro-group product is complementary and introgroup is competitive. We find that product differentiation does not only affect the pricing strategy, but also impose influence on the firms' merger and restructuring in the market structure to deep extent.
