Abstract

On the basis of the relationship among flow、speed、density of macro traffic flow, a combination method of micro simulation and macro simulation is used to analyze the vehicle delay, especially the twice delay at the signalized intersection under over saturated situation. This method makes the simulation results more suitable to the actual traffic flow circumstances.
