Abstract

On the basis of general production function, this paper demonstrates that the indicators concerning the effects of change of TFP to economic growth are of consilience, and the indicators concerning the effects of change of TFP to the growth of labor productivity are of consilience too.In this paper, the authors analyse the inconsilience of indicators resulted from R.M. Solow’s approach and point out that Cobb-Douglas function is the only homologous function of R.M.Solow’s difference growth equation.

Key words

Total factor productivity (TFP) / consilience of indicators / difference growth equation
