摘要

社会标注系统作为一种新的信息与知识组织的方式近年来得到了广泛的应用.但现行主流的基于扁平标签的标注系统存在标签规模扩大后有效性显著降低的问题,特别是这类系统环境下生成的分众分类在结构和语义上出现很多问题.对此,本文提出层级标签的思路,以克服扁平标签体系导致的问题.相应地设计一个基于层级标签的分众分类生成方法,解决层级标签带来的语义冲突问题.

Abstract

Folksonomy has been recognized as an effective means for organizing and retrieving resources in human collections. However, the effectiveness and user-friendliness would tremendously decrease as the amount of tags as well as the tagged resources scale up. One key reason is that the generated tag system is an unstructured "tag cloud". To cope with this problem, we in this paper suggest a scheme for constructing social tagging systems on the basis of hierarchical tags, as an extension of today's mainstream flag tags. Correspondingly, an algorithm of folksonomy construction from the user-defined hierarchical tags is proposed and preliminarily validated by an experimental hierarchical tagging system.
